One of our strategic objectives this year was to look at ways in which we could improve our customer footfall and average spend per head through improved speed of service. We decided to engage an experienced external resource to minimise distractions for our senior management team and opted to work with Jez King at Valuedriver.

Jez quickly got to know our business and built strong relationships with our people at all levels in the organisation. Working together with the Novus team, he developed trialled and implemented initiatives that have had a fundamental impact on the customer experience in our venues and improved like for like sales by over 4%.

The project cut through to the key issues, delivering relevant and meaningful solutions that are seen by the whole business as practical, credible and workable. We have been impressed with the standard of professionalism, work ethic and results from this project – so much so that we have asked Jez to continue to work with us and advise on another important opportunity next year.
